Start of the showdown is just around the corner!!!

What an awesome way to finish off the regular MCE BSB season at Donington park last weekend.
The only place to start is obviously with Josh Brookes who had his best ever weekend winning both races for the first time this season. He started both races in pole position and seemed like he didn’t look back racing to victory in Race 1 and 2. Brookes definitely didn’t have it all his own way in that 2nd race as Michael Laverty performed a stunning move on the inside of Brookes only to lose it again to the relentless Brookes just a lap later.
The final showdown place was taken by Alex Lowes to fight it out for the title in the remaining 3 meetings of the season starting at the mighty Assen. It’s not exiting enough already that the MCE British Superbikes will be at the historic Assen circuit for the very first time but to top it off it’s the opening round of the showdown.
I’m exited for this showdown to start as 6 riders from 6 different teams take the stage to become MCE BSB 2012 Champion. Good luck Alex Lowes, Tommy Hill, Shane Byrne, Tommy Bridewell, Michael Laverty and Josh Brookes lets hope that its as exiting and nail biting as last year.
