MCN London Motorcycle Show

So the Smilers and me were happier than a pig in poo at the MCN London Motorcycle Show last week – four days of bikes and birds is the best way to combat the winter blues in my book.

Was good catching up with Stuart Easton and James Ellison who were on the MCE insurance stand for a photo shoot on Saturday. Swan Honda, who they're both now signed for new, must be one of the favourites going into the 2010 MCE British Superbikes Championship . Not long now until the season kicks off in the first week of April at Brands Hatch!

I bought a Gladius nine mohtns ago and have done 10k miles on it. I swapped the rear shock for an a340 ebay GSXR 750 one and now have a fast bike with quick steering, but rock solid, handling. I agree the styling is not sharp enough and Suzuki's marketing has been abysmal. It deserves better press as it's a great machine that will be just as quick as any sports bike on a twisty back road . If you fancy a supermoto but are worried about twitchy handling try a Gladius. Not just for girls!
