Bus Lane Riders Beware...

No, this American school bus isn’t on fire – it’s just been slightly modified so that its goes faster than normal. Instead of screaming brats in the back, it’s a screaming General Electric J-79 jet engine that should really be in its more welcome surrounding of an F4 Phantom fighter jet. This is what helps it get up to its top speed of 350MPH.

Its running at 42,000 horsepower – the equivalent of 230 Yamaha R1’s, or 6000 scooters. Scooters that probably won’t mind giving the bus lanes a miss if it means sitting at traffic light behind this.
