Record growth at MCE Insurance leads to new role

After a record breaking 2006 MCE Insurance, one of the top 3 motorcycle insurance providers in the UK, has appointed Dave Plummer as Sales & Marketing Manager for the company’s affinity activities.

Dave, who brings with him over 20 years of motorcycle trade experience, having held senior positions with Kawasaki, Ducati and KTM, will be responsible for maintaining and developing strategic partnerships between MCE Insurance and motorcycle dealers and manufacturers alike.

Plummer said ‘This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic company, with clearly defined aims for the future. The product set available from MCE is outstanding, the company has experienced growth of over 30% in 2006 and as a result is now ready to focus further on the trade activities and partners. My role is to bring the affinity business into line with the dramatic retail growth and to further develop relationships within the motorcycle and related industries’.

Based in Wellingborough, Northants MCE Insurance currently provides branded insurance schemes for Peugeot, Kymco, Cagiva, MV Agusta and Husqvarna in addition to operating MCE Insurance branded schemes for scooter, motorcycle and quads.
