Storming results at the International Motorcycle & Scooter Show
Specialist motorcycle broker MCE Insurance has recorded storming results at the International Motorcycle & Scooter Show, hosted at the NEC, Birmingham.
The International Motorcycle & Scooter Show ran from 27th November to 7th December and is the UK showcase for the latest motorcycle models, exhibitors included Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and BMW.
A fired up Julian Edwards, Director of MCE Insurance added ‘We used the show to launch the new face of MCE Insurance, Big ’Ed and his Smiles Better Quotes. Bikers young, old, male, female loved him!’
On a negative note attendance for the 2009 show was down 6% to 102,202 on the previous year. However we are calling this a good result baring in mind motorcycle sales in November dropped by 16% with annual registrations of just 133,009.’
MCE Insurance will be exhibiting at over 25 motorcycle events in 2009 with Big ’Ed and The MCE Smilers travelling to London, Edinburgh and Belfast.
