
MotoGP star Cal Crutchlow was one of the many stars in attendance at this weekend’s Brackley Festival of Motorcycling, sponsored by MCE Insurance. The current World Supersport series leader was joined by runaway BSB champion-in-waiting Leon Camier, top UK stunt rider Craig Jones (who appeared in the Tomb Raider) Eurosport commentator James Haydon and MCE’s BIG ED.
The event marked Brackleys 1st ever motorcycling event and was supported by KTM, Yamaha, Harley Davidson and The British Superbikes.
Over 5,000 bikers visited on the day, attracted by the great riding routes to Brackley combined with a host of side attractions including classic bike displays, riding skills demonstrations and street entertainers.
The organiser Mac MacConnell, said ‘There is quite a large motorcycling industry in Northamptonshire and we thought it will be a great way to promote Brackley in the year before the Moto GP comes to Silverstone. We would like to pass on our thanks to MCE for being a great partner’
