MCE Insurance, Ducati UK Roadshow and sorrymate.com to support Heart of England Bike show
MCE Insurance - Official Title Partner of the MCE British Superbikes Championships - has confirmed its support for the Heart Of England Bike Show on Sunday 9th May 2010.
The free, one day event will incorporate displays, demonstrations and a larger number of exhibitors and traders than in 2009. New for this year will be the "The Paddocks" - hosting motorcycle manufacturers and regional dealers, providing a range of 2010 demo bikes for use on free, guided BikeSafe ride outs. Support has been confirmed by Triumph, Yamaha and Royal Enfield and the event has been incorporated on the Ducati 2010 roadshow.
Also new will be a dedicated Club Zone for bikers to socialise and sign up, together with a series of free Information Workshops supported by the Highways Agency and covering a range of topics from track-based training to tyre choice. The Try-Before-You-Buy Scooter Zone and off-road demonstrations should again ensure wide appeal to bikers with different levels of experience and different motorcycling interests.
The sorrymate.com Stunt Arena will host performances by the Xtreme Trials Display Team, Dave Coates and a Pro Celebrity Challenge on Quantya Swiss Electric bikes. Whilst at a more sedate pace, BikeSafe police officers will demonstrate their slow riding skills.
Stephen Rumble, Event Organiser from Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership said;-
"The support and enthusiasm that our new partners have offered demonstrates not only their passion for motorcycling, but a genuine interest in the well being of all bikers. This year's event will again offer free entry, free activities and great entertainment, but the underlying theme will be to provide easy access to a wealth of information and advice about rider assessment and training options. We need to reduce the number of motorcycling casualties across the South Midlands and I am sure that the Heart of England Bike Show will be as inspirational as it is enjoyable".
The event will be held at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon in Warwickshire, on Sunday 9th May 2010 from 10.00am until 5.00pm.
