Photographers get glimpse of 2013 Triumph bike
While its general release is a long way away, the Triumph's 2013 Street Triple has been spotted by photographers looking to gain further insight into this exciting upcoming release from the British manufacturer. Snapped in Spain and reported by MCN, Triumph's testing base was busy this month as the 2013 machine looked to refine its new look and parts.
While the future bike retains many major structural and mechanical elements of the current model, a new look and a range of new components have been fitted to meet competition from a number of new starters in the market, including MV Agusta's Brutale 675.
MCN went on to explain that while the Triumph's traditional round headlights were ditched for slanted units on the Street Triple much to the chagrin of traditional fans of the brand, it is now clearer than ever that the lights laid foundations for further evolution of the look into an all-new style.
On top of this, it was reported that every panel is new - including the fuel tank - and the seat has changed after the loss of the high-level exhausts "in favour of a single, low-mounted pipe".
