Hamilton: I'd love to get my hands on a MotoGP bike

MCE Insurance Three time F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton has revealed he would 'love to get his hands on a MotoGP bike' to try out a machine from the two wheeled side of the premier class, opposed to his usual four.

Having already been to a number of GP's his interest is evidently not just from a spectator's viewpoint, but from that of a rider. Having teamed up with MV Agusta to create a 'Dragster RR LH 44' he has always had a public interest in motorbikes and this is set to spark a lot of interest in the paddock with many excited to see how the F1 champion would fare on a MotoGP bike.

'I love bikes - I don't really drive too much off-track, I tend to ride my MV Agusta bikes around,' explains Hamilton. 'The sense of freedom you get is amazing when it's just you and the bike. But racing one would be a whole different proposition. I'm a big fan of MotoGP; it's just a very cool series. I would really love to get my hands on a MotoGP bike one day.'
