Howarth returns to MCE BSB with MotoDex Performance First BMW
MotoDex Performance First BMW have announced their return to the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship in 2016. The Sheffield-based team will have Michael Howarth at the helm for the season, joining the MCE BSB grid at Oulton Park this coming weekend.
Howarth is MCE Insurance's resident pillion rider for Club MCE experiences and we're pleased to see him back competing in the series. The Yorkshireman last raced in the championship back in 2013 and has been looking to rejoin the paddock ever since.
Howarth said: 'I'm absolutely over the moon to finally be able to say I'm back! I haven't ridden since 2013 and since then I've been fighting tooth and nail to get a deal where I can give it my all. I've always said I wouldn't do a half-baked job of it, I was determined if I came back it would be for the full season and now I'm in a position to do just that. I am ready to come back and give it everything I have to get the best results I can.
'I'm excited to be back out there at Oulton Park. It's my home track and that's always something special, and I will be giving it my all every time I go out onto the track. Thanks to Tony and MotoDex I'm able to get my career back on track and I want to also thank every single person who has made that possible. Now it's time to thank them by getting the best results I can.'
