From discussions in the office to the commonly asked questions on social media, when discussing the upcoming 2015 season of the MCE British Superbikes the name on everyone's lips has been Jenny Tinmouth.

The Ellesmere Port based rider has achieved a number of incredible feats in her lifetime; she's the fastest woman around the Isle of Man TT circuit, beating her own record in 2010 averaging speeds of an incredible 119.945mph. Furthermore, she was also the first ever female MCE British Superbike team owner with her own team Two Wheel Racing, as well as being the first and only female to ever score a point in the MCE British Superbike series.

In the lead up to this year's series, the question most commonly asked has been "So any news on Jenny?", and this week the answer was finally revealed when Honda Racing announced that they had signed the rider.

Tinmouth said: "The offer was totally unexpected. I went for a meeting with Nick [Campolucci] to discuss the season and had a few cheeky questions I wanted to ask about Honda helping me out with bikes, and when the offer came I couldn't believe what I was being asked. I went into the meeting thinking it would just be some help and came out as a full-time Honda rider."

Tinmouth will be racing alongside Dan Linfoot and Jason O'Halloran on the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, this will undoubtedly be a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate to the biking world what she can do. Here at MCE we wish her the best of luck, although going off what she has continually proved to the biking world we're not sure that she needs it.
