Stoner to join MotoGP test
Casey Stoner will join day two of the official Sepang MotoGP test tomorrow, riding alongside MotoGP riders in a timed session for the first time since his retirement back in 2012.
This will mark the first time the Australian will be on track with his successor, Marc Marquez who took his place at Repsol Honda and went on to win two championships in the process.
He will also compete alongside Lorenzo, Rossi and Pedrosa which will be fascinating for anyone familiar with not only the controversial end to the 2015 championship, but also those who know of Stoner's outspoken nature with Valentino Rossi in particular.
The Ducati rider had a successful few days over the weekend as he got a first taste of the Desmosedici which he repeatedly described as having a lot of 'grunt' in the press scrum following the sessions.
If Stoner plans a wildcard return this may not be the last time we will see him on track with the MotoGP boys in 2016...
