Local beauty makes short-list in Miss England competition
Cheralyn Hitcham, 22, from Rushden, Northamptonshire has recently secured herself a place in the prestigious Miss England competition. Having already completed judging based auditions, Cheralyn is now campaigning for public votes to push on into the semi-finals taking place in 2015. She's hoping that the competition will grant her more exposure into the fashion world where she can further her modelling career. Natural beauty and charm can only get you so far though, and the competition requires a lot of hard work and determination to secure the all-important votes to make the finals.
Cheralyn who was born and raised in Rushden is hoping to call on support from the motorcycling community. Backed by her employers MCE Insurance, title sponsors of the MCE British Superbikes, Cheralyn will be making special appearances at the final round of the championship this weekend at Brands Hatch as part of the Club MCE team, where she'll be meeting the race fans on pit walks, looking after the riders on grid and also presenting the trophies to race winners.
Cheralyn has already secured herself a spot in the last 30 by completing an audition and winning over the judges, now she needs public votes to get a place in the semi-final. You can vote for Cheralyn by texting MISS ENGH25 to 63333 or to vote from a landline, call 0901 3078571 and press 25 when prompted.
Text votes cost 50p and landline votes cost 52p plus standard network charge. Voting closes at midnight on Sunday, November 30th. She also needs to pick up votes on social media, visit the Miss England Facebook Page to get behind Cheralyn by liking her picture.
