MCE give the nod to multiple mods
Offering insurance for motorbikes with modifications is a hot topic of conversation right now. There has been a lot of press recently regarding certain insurance brokers who won't insure a bike with more than a certain number of mods. MCE Insurance have now clarified their position on this topic and its good news from the UK's Number One provider of motorcycle insurance.
Unlike some of their competitors in the bike insurance market, there is no restrictive number of modifications at MCE that will stop their team striving to find you the best insurance deal available. Julian Edwards, Chief Executive of the title sponsors of the MCE Insurance British Superbikes Series commented; "Riders modify their bikes for a number of reasons and in the main, they either improve the performance of their vehicle or are a way of expressing their personality through their pride and joy. The last thing that riders want is to be restricted by a certain number of mods that makes their bike uninsurable. At MCE, we will endeavour to find insurance for riders of any age, on any model of any bike, with no restrictions on the number of changes that a rider has made to their vehicle."
The advice from those in the know at MCE is always to let your insurance provider know about any changes made to your bike, however large or small, in order to ensure that your policy continues to cover your dream machine.
