MCE gives options to youngsters
MCE Insurance launched their Social Enterprise Scheme earlier this year with the aim of offering local young people the chance to gain some work experience whilst at the same time helping them grow as people. Targeting individuals whose personal situations have made it difficult for them to find work, MCE believe in giving them a base to start their future from and that base is experience.
Working with the Education and Youth Service (EYS) MCE recently offered Tyrell Carnegie the chance to join the options team and get some training and work experience. He trained with the team for 10 days and really relished the experience. He was entertaining, professional and had a great telephone manner. MCE were happy for Tyrell to continue with his journey at the company but he decided to move his career in another direction but said the experience that MCE had given him was invaluable.
MCE's Group Chief Executive Julian Edwards said, "The MCE Social Enterprise Scheme is something I'm really passionate about. Giving local young people the chance to gain some work experience and move forward with their future is something everyone deserves." He added, "Tyrell worked hard and had a great time at the Enterprise building with the options team, I hope the experience has given him some of the tools he'll need for his future career."
