One of the UK's biggest fundraising nights of the year, the BBC's Sport Relief campaign, took place on Friday 23rd March and the UK's Number One provider of motorcycle insurance pulled out all the stops to help support this worthy cause.

Over 100 volunteers from MCE's Northamptonshire-based call centre gave up their evenings to man the telephones and take donations from around the UK in support of Sport Relief's push to raise money for disadvantaged people across the country and in some of the poorest parts of the world.

The MCE team were joined on the night by Gary Mason, a rider from the MCE Insurance British Superbike Series, who pitched in and took calls alongside all the other volunteers and who also had a starring role as the BBC broadcast live from the MCE Building.

Matt Duck, MCE's Head of Talent commented: "We are proud to have been associated with such a worthy cause as Sport Relief. To see so many of our MCE team willing to give up their time to help make a difference to lives across the world shows what a great group of people we have working here. Many of the volunteers had completed a full day at work and then stayed on past midnight in order to take donation calls. As a call centre, we raised a fantastic amount in excess of £36,000 in donations, which makes all the effort totally worthwhile".
