MCE Scholarships Success!

MCE Insurance

This years MCE Scholarships application process has resulted in a record number of MCE people being handed the opportunity to undertake a qualification completely supported by the company. In total 20 scholarships have been awarded to people from around the business, with thousands of pounds being invested in their development.

Sixteen people from various departments will undertake a Foundation Insurance Test (FIT) through the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). The same learning organisation will be used to plot the development course for Nick Roberts, Nadine Stevenson and Chris Sibley who are building on their FIT Scholarship from last year and studying for their Certificate in Insurance. Jackie Spittles is also being supported through her level 5 NVQ in Management, which is the equivalent of a foundation degree.

Ceri Lewison from the IT team, who is one of last years MCE Scholarships recipients, has received notification of her success in passing her Prince2 Project Management qualification. She is now fully qualified in Project management. Not only that but Hallam Knapp (Sales Manager) and Dee Modha (Head of Operations) have passed the third and final exam of their Certificate of Insurance which makes them fully qualified insurance professionals.

Matt Duck, MCE's Head of Talent, had this to say, "Developing our people and retaining our talent is very important to us here at MCE. We believe in supporting each individual right through the learning process, helping them to grow. The results of this can be seen with the number of people applying for new scholarships and with the success of the team members already taking part."
