MCE Working to Help Local Youngsters in Need
Over the last decade the world economic crisis has been one of the biggest news stories on the planet. This has affected people's jobs, living standards and general quality of life. Here in the UK, opportunities for young people have been hard to come by with almost one million 16-24 year olds looking for work. MCE Insurance, the UK's Number One provider of motorbike insurance, is working hard to change this by giving opportunities to young people in their local area.
MCE's Social Enterprise Scheme aims to offer youngsters a route into work and provide job opportunities at their state-of-the-art call centre based in Northamptonshire. Targeting young people who have come from troubled backgrounds and whose personal situations have made it difficult for them to find a way into work, MCE Insurance hope to give individuals the opportunity to shine.
Julian Edwards, Chief Executive at the title sponsors of the MCE Insurance British Superbike series is delighted with the chance to help the less fortunate job seekers in the local area; "At MCE, we have people in our team from a wide range of backgrounds and we passionately believe in recruiting the right people for our company, regardless what difficulties they may have faced in the past. With partnerships like these, we can continue to find the right people for our excellent team here at MCE, whilst providing careers for those that might not otherwise get the opportunity that their talent deserves."
