The Big Match- MCE Managers vs MCE Sales Team
Tuesday 27th March saw MCE Insurance's Sales team take to the football field in a challenge match against a select group of Managers from around the business.
Despite the Managers' team having a much higher average figure in terms of both age and weight, they held the young bucks of the Sales team to a creditable 1-1 draw.
The match, which helped raise money for the BBC Sport Relief charity, was also attended by numerous other MCE people in a spectating capacity and they were treated to lots of huffing and puffing and standing around with hands on knees, as well as the occasional bit of attractive football. Owen Rush's goal for the Sales team after fifteen minutes was cancelled out soon after by Matt Duck, Head of Talent for the UK's Number One provider of motorcycle insurance. Richard Impett, IT Manager had a chance to win the game with merely seconds left, only to fluff his lines in front of goal and only three yards out...
