Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to say thank you and to express my sincere delight at receiving such incredibly good customer service from one of your members of staff earlier today.

I called up and spoke to one of your employees by the name of 'Ray'. Ray came back to me with a deal that was still more expensive than the alternative with Swinton, but due to his wonderful manner, his excellent customer service, the efforts he (and his supervisor) went to and his genuine loyalty to the organisation I was moved to re-insure with you.

I just wanted to say that he (Ray) really made my day. He has a wonderful telephone manner, he sounds like a real human and he sounds like he really cares too, what a complete gem.

Yesterday when I woke up I had no idea how AWESOME my day was going to be. Around 10.30 I was checking my e-mails and social media updates, as I usually do, when I saw MCE Insurance's Big Ed post on Facebook:

Big Ed:

I, Superbiker 2 preview this afternoon in Landan! Feeling a bit mischievous...who wants in this exclusive event, I can sneak you and a friend in let me know...NOW!

To win, I just needed to be free from 3.30 till 8PM and RSVP quickly. Guess what? I'M ON VACATION! Of course I was free! So I told my husband and asked him to leave work earlier. Lucky me again - HE DID! One hour later Big Ed asked for my contact number and in 1 minute I received a call from Traci McLean (Marketing Executive for MCE Insurance), who explained the details. Among other things, she said I would meet some of the British Superbike riders - WHAAAAT?

Oh yeah! I met my husband at the tube station and when we arrived at the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill I spotted my living idol Tommy Hill posing for pictures. I had to restrain myself. Then I saw Big Ed and Big Ed saw me. Not only he saw me, but he also took me in his arms and carried me in - that was a little embarrassing, but I loved it! There were only interesting people there: the film producers, journalists, Swan Yamaha team owner Shaun Muir, BSB riders Gary Mason, Simon Andrews, Jon Kirkham, Peter Hickman, former Olympic athlete Derek Redmondand, and a lot more. We had a few drinks and sat to watch the movie - like a boss!

As the first one, "I, Superbiker 2 - The showdown" seems like a season review. It shows how each of the six contenders (Shakey Byrne, Josh Brooks, John Hopkins, Tommy Hill, Ryuichi Kiyonari and Michael Laverty) managed to get to the BSB showdown. In my opinion it would be nicer if it was done in a more linear way, instead of going back and forth to show them individually. But with it we could remember all the pain John Hopkins went through with his finger, what a bad season it was for Kiyonari, learn about Shakey Byrne's opinion on the point system for the showdown, and cheer again seeing that final and most dramatic lap in the history of BSB, in which Tommy Hill wins by 6 thousands of a second. It's a must-see for any superbike lover - especially those who don't have a chance to watch the championship on telly.

In the end, after a round of applause I finally asked Katie Martin and Tommy Hill to pose for a picture with me. I asked his opinion about a certain championship and he answered me very nicely. I also took pictures with Gary Mason and MCN sport editor Gary Pinchin. Then we left for more drinks at The Lonsdale.

Big Ed welcomed me there again and we danced! I was so happy that I forgot to ask Shaun Muir for an internship, but that's alright. It was a great opportunity and a wonderful gift from MCE Insurance that we will never forget. Thanks!

Jamie was most helpful with processing my requests and arranging changes to a former policy of mine and reactivating it with a new bike on the policy.

Good Afternoon to whom it may concern,

I have recently renewed my motorcycle insurance with MCE and to cut a long story short, I spoke with Leanne in the customer service department today. The problem I had was rectified and I would like to state that Leanne is surely a credit to your company. She was courteous, helpful and understanding....the basic attributes that many lack in customer care.

Many customers rightfully complain when they have been presented with a pitiful service. However, although a paying customer expects nothing less, at the same time not enough people acknowledge such professionalism of that shown by Leanne.

I hope this acknowledgment and thanks is passed to both Leanne and her manager.

I look forward to hopefully renewing once again with MCE next year.

Dear MCE Insurance,

On 2nd October 2011, I had a nasty motorbike accident which resulted in my motorbike being written off.

As you can imagine, it wasn't the nicest of experiences and was very inconvenient. The paperwork trail etc which followed was rather daunting and required patience when it came to getting everything to the right people and getting the right level of feedback and turn around.

This is the first accident I have had since acquiring my UK licence in 2002 and I had heard stories of claims being dragged out for months and years, so I was quite sceptical of the outcome, especially the injury claim part.

Throughout the entire process Adam Kipling has been swift, very patient with certain indecision on my part and extremely professional. His advice has been thorough and although I have wanted to conclude this issue quickly at perhaps a reduction in liability offer, Adam has simply not stalled but orchestrated each request with precision whilst keeping me in the loop.

In this day and age with companies offering such poor customer service and insurance companies being non so forthcoming with payouts, it is so refreshing to deal with a firm who is focused on making sure the customer wins. I have actually felt prioritised and I am very grateful to Adam for this. I would encourage you to hang on to the 'ingredients' which is making your firm stand out and is recognised for true professionalism because it's so rare in this day and age.

I look forward to concluding my claim in due course and hope that Adam is recognised for his excellent representation of your firm.

Hi Colin, This year's show was a great success with lots of interest in our range of bikes for 2012. With the stand being so busy it was great having Pablo from MCE at the main counter, he always did his best to help out if he wasn't dealing with an insurance related query and quickly made himself a valuable member to the Kawasaki team.

Good Afternoon, I have been insured on my Triumph Bonneville with MCE since November 2008. I find your company very efficient and a pleasure to deal with so I have just renewed my policy for another year with you. I also appreciate the free RAC membership.

Sinead, I am glad my Irish luck has meant our wires have crossed twice in one month - you really have been great, many thanks! The RAC have lifted/moved my bike to a mechanic 7km away from where I am staying and I am told it will be ready latest next Monday. I'm fine with that. Though I was grateful, I declined the offer of a replacement rental car. Berlin is safe on foot, and it has excellent public transport. I had not contacted any other company but after speaking to a member of your team (namely Robert Shilton) I had no intention of doing. The quote was acceptable but of more importance was the way I was dealt with as a potential customer. Robert was polite, easy to understand and very personable. I have worked with the public myself for 25 years and pride my self on the way that I deal with people. Robert was simply first class in the way he handled my call and I thank him for that. He is a credit to himself, his profession and your company. On Thursday I went online to purchase an insurance policy for my son which I did using MCE. When I received his documents, I noticed I had made an error and used my date of birth instead of his. I rang your team straight away and was greeted by Robert Shilton. Can I just say, I am so glad he picked up my call. I cannot thank Robert enough for his calming approach as to me, this was the end of the world. He dealt with me in a manner that I found to be courteous and calming. I just wanted to bring to your attention the wonderful service I had from two of your customer service staff today. I spoketo a Robert Shilton who listened to my request carefully to have a multi bike policy and immediately found my new # bike on the system. He said he would look into this and get someone from the mid-term team to call me and sort it out. Shortly afterwards I received a call from Leanne who took me through all the options and I was delighted to get a multi bike policy sorted for under £300. Both of your employees gave excellent customer service and went above and beyond their duty to ensure my request was fulfilled. They are shining examples of excellent customer service and I would like to say thanks to them both.

Thank you very much for providing me with insurance on my current bike - so far, your customer support has been absolutely stellar. Thankfully, I haven't had to make a claim yet (I'm saying thankfully because making a claim would mean that I'd have had an accident. So, so far, so good!
I will be passing my full motorbike license within a month and obviously, I'm enquiring with you guys before going to CompareTheMarket and other websites because I like your professional attitude, especially when I asked to change my insurance start date by one week, so I'd be very keen on staying with you guys.

"Hi, I just wanted to say that I took out bike insurance last week and only a few days later I could not get my bike started. I made a call out to RAC and they were to me within an hour. This is excellent service and the mechanic stayed with me until it was fully running. I am overly please with this service and will definately recommend you to my friends. "A couple of days ago my son had an accident, I rang MCE motorcycle claims and was not left on hold, they also called back when they said they would! I dealt with some very polite and knowledgeable people and as there is also personal injury (serious). The advice I have been given is fantastic and I really cannot fault them - I would recommend MCE bike insurance to anyone."

"Earlier today, one of your team members, whose name I only took as James, sorted me out with insurance for my son,William's Yamaha DT 125 RE motorcycle, chasis number VTLDE xx xx xxxxxx.

The bike is a birthday present for him and although new, is an unused 2005 model that was bought new in the UK by a friend but then taken to the Isle of Man where it was never registered or ridden.

James found me a policy at £473.75 which I accepted but he needed details of my son's current policy with Swinton, which expires on 26th April 2010, in order to confirm no claims bonus discount. (Although I initially asked for legal protection, after thinking about it, I have since re-instated that cover with an equally helpful member of your staff - this now takes the total premium I have paid to £488.34).

The previous Policy number James requires is xx xxxxxxx ,the 'Product Name' on the renewal notice is "NIG Swinton Bike", and the Broker Name is 'Swinton Motor Cycle Unit'. It relates to the Vespa PK 50 Scooter William has owned since 26.4.08.
As I need to move quickly to get the bike registered in time for his birthday, I would be grateful if the above details could be passed for James' attention ASAP, so that he can then forward a certificate of insurance to me.
In the meantime, I would like to say how grateful I am for having found MCE after spending 2 frustrating days trying to obtain insurance at anything approaching an acceptable price in order to get me out of the vicious cycle of, "no registration, no insurance........no insurance, no registration!!" . I only wish I had come to MCE first.
James was able to cut through all the "computer says no" nonsense, fully understood my predicament and was very helpful, friendly and efficient indeed.
I have 2 other motorcycles of my own currently insured elsewhere, but I can assure you that upon renewal I will be contacting you again. I will also be recommending you to all my motorcycling friends and family.
Please feel free to use these comments in any way you see fit.

"I'm 17 years old, 0 NCB, £2,000 bike, I got one quote for about £7,000 fully comprehensive insurance, so I could total my bike three times and still have enough left over for new kit. I eventually tracked some insurance through MCE Insurance for £400 Third Party Fire and Theft. Pretty good and excellent service."

With no daunting paperwork to fill in and everything done over the phone makes MCE the easiest insurance company to use.
