When I phoned MCE earlier today to get some explanations about details of the new motorcycle insurance I have just subscribed to with MCE I was lucky enough to be answered by Leyton. He was very patient and understanding about my concerns and made efforts beyond my expectations to precisely answer my questions. The line was bad (I am deaf which doesn't help!) so he kindly offered to call back, and that was much appreciated. When all was done he sent me an email summarising the answers to my questions and giving me cyber-links to texts which spelled out the points in detail. I am a bit of a cynic but this time I was really impressed, so I'm glad that I have the opportunity to write about it here, and yes Leyton I'll be back next year when my policy is up for renewal.
I contacted MCE around two weeks ago to get an insurance quote, and was dealt with by JF. His customer service skills, attention to detail and general manner were truly excellent. Not only did I get an excellent insurance policy, he actually made the experience a pleasure. Well done to MCE for employing someone of such calibre.
After taking out insurance with MCE, there was a discrepancy in prices.
With a bit of perseverance, I managed to get to speak an extremely helpful and friendly lady. She resolved all problems and was very pleasant to deal with.
It took a bit of getting messed about and passed from pillar to post to finally get to this person, but it was easily resolved when i spoke with her.
I recently telephoned MCE to make a change to my existing motorcycle insurance policy. Good customer serviceis sometimes hard to come by in this day and age, particularly over the telephone, but I can't fault MCE on this occasion. The call was answered very promptly and the member of staff was polite and well spoken. He took the time to go through various different options with me and did his utmost to get the renewal premium down as far as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and I didn't feel rushed at all. He even offered to call me back to keep my own phone bill to a minimum. Clearly, this process didn't include any form of claim, but on the basis of this interaction with MCE, I'm very pleased and feel that I got a good deal. I am confident that if I called back and spoke with this particular member of staff again, I would receive excellent service.
I guess it's mostly due to compliance but although their sales consultant did a great job of walking me through renewing my insurance, the process is rather long winded as they can't carry forward information from previous years and there's a lot of info that needs to be communicated

Spoke with the sales team today, unfortunately they misunderstood that I did have 1 year no claims bonus due to a previous accident, date wise.So the quote I received was ridiculously high. I said i would sleep on it. They phoned me back two hours later, to see if I was happy to proceed, I said that the on line quote was £300 cheaper, and was in the middle of filling in the form on line,but I was having trouble with my card security.
The chap said the quote on line was correct, and would look into why the phone quote was so much higher, it turned out that the girl had missed the fact that I did have 1 year no claims bonus. This was simply down to a misunderstanding by her. I accepted their apologies and they did the insurance over tha phone for me.
Yes I did get very good service from the team at MCE and will continue to recommend them to others, especially as I belong to a bike club with 450 member
I had been looking for insurance for about a week for my new bike and tried MCE, James the advisor who I spoke to helped me out and got me a good quote when I was struggling to find one and made me feel like I was talking to a friend,the guy should get a pay rise, would definitely recommend.
Changed my bike today so had to change my insurance details. It was a painless and quick procedure and took very little time to do. Great service, friendly helpful staff, recommended.
Called them to change my address and swap my insurance over to a new bike which arrives next week to me. All done in 20 minutes! They don't create problems out of everything like many other insurance companies. Really Happy. Smooth and easy, that's how I want things anyway.

I hate getting quotes for bike insurance - everyone wants to know stuff i can't remember!! but this being said, MCE were excellent - gave a great price on line and matched it when i called them in person. Price was dramatically better than competitive quotes. It all went smooth. Would recommend.

I spoke to a women who was extremely helpful, talking me through the whole process of insuring my new bike and then breaking the news gently that I had to wait until I passed my Mod 2. She did proceed with the quote for when I do pass and saved the quote and wished me luck. You can't ask for more than that. 10/10 service in my eyes.

I have been with the same insurance company for the past five years and hadn't thought about changing. An error in the renewal quotation from my insurer got me shopping around.
MCE came up as competitive via an online quote and they contacted me to follow up, as you might expect.
Have to say that, in the end, it was a bit cheaper BUT the way the salesperson handled the quotation process was great; always called back when she said she would and went through everything very thoroughly. I know that this is partly for their protection, but it's reassuring to know that they're quoting the right bike, right cover for the right person etc.
I didn't expect to have to use Customer Services quite so quickly but needed to modify the insurance the day after I agreed to the policy (doh!) She helped me through the changes and again, someone who seemed genuinely interested and was very helpful, ensuring I got what was needed.
So, a decision in the end that wasn't driven on just the price - she made a difference during the sales process that got me to switch and my experience of customer services has be great too.

My second year now with MCE - there quotation for my £18K un-garaged bike beats everyone else hands down & I got a 15 month renewal!
The advisor called me in the morning (just when I was cooking!) and I asked that she call me back later - we agreed 14:00. She phoned back promptly and very pleasantly guided me through the renewal. She took on board the alterations to policy I had to make (retired / upgraded security), confirmed my RAC upgraded cover and confirmed the cost of this so I could confirm if it was more cost effective to take out separately (in fact it wasn't). She then did the boring bit of advising me of my rights etc and the deal was done.
It was extremely pleasant and comfortable speaking with her and she made the call feel like it had taken no time at all.
As it was my first time searching on the net for cheaper insurance and being a dinosaur from the last century. It was a pleasant experience to find an insurance company namely MCE who where prepared to cover me at a very competitive rate, unlike some of the big insurers quoting silly numbers, and the member of your staff (can't mention names apparently) but I'll give you a clue! The lady I spoke to was the most helpful I've ever spoke to and it made the whole process of transferring polices a pleasant experience. Normally I don't like phoning companies as you can get some really unhelpful people, so well done T.F at MCE.

MCE has overall been a very good service for me.
The initial insurance was a reasonable price and easy to set up, I have had no problems with the policy itself. Due to me selling the vehicle I had to cancel my policy which could have been a problem but thanks to the advisor in the customer services department, I had all my issues resolved quickly and effectively.
Overall the service was good and in the event of me needing to insure another vehicle in the future, I will definitely consider MCE again. A big thank you from me.

The real reason for the review was the quality of service and friendliness of the agent. So often call centre staff are hard to deal with, but this was a pleasure.

Adam was very clear and concise when speaking to me and made sure that the conversation was not rushed and everything was explained very comprehensively. He is the type of person that you would want on the front line of a company and to lead other people into being as competent as he is. I am very impressed!
I have dealt with MCE twice and have had a great experience on both occasions with the staff explaining everything fully and being very knowledgeable about their products. The after service has been polite and precise. They have done everything they said they would and all at a competitive price so I am very happen and would not hesitate to recommend them.

My NCB ran out by 15 days and I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask so I asked if they would honour my previous NCB which was over 2 years ago. Happily they did and when I say they did, it was Owen Rush. I have been insured with MCE for just over a year now and I can honestly say that they could put every other insurer out of business. They have always been the best for service, money, customer support. Anything I have ever had to ask for such as swapping and changing bikes on my policy they have just got on with it. It's great you can actually talk to a UK based call centre too! I have recently purchased a 50cc geared moped for my 16 year old daughter. This opened up the abyss of insurance and insurers, getting bounced around between brokers, agents and policy types. I finally managed to speak to an adviser at MCE whom wanted to help and did everything he could to organise my issues, this was the most complicated scenario I have encountered but with a lot of patience and professional knowledge he organised everything and my daughter is now a happy teenager (if there is such a thing!) on the road in the knowledge the insurance policy is correct for her needs.

Spoke to a customer services rep by the name of Leyton Carter. The service I received was the best service I have ever received from any call centre in the past. I felt Leyton had taken out lots of time to resolve my situation which was not an easy one. He promised with calls back (saving me on phone costs) which he did and after a struggle with a third party, he managed to sort out my issue with ease. I am very pleased I spoke to Leyton Carter as I believe it very difficult to find individuals like him in the customer service sector. He did exactly what was asked and more! MCE's customer service overall gets from me a very well deserved 5 STARS!
Having just managed to get a cracking deal on my new bike I was braced for a significant increase to my premium. The lady who dealt with my amendment was absolutely fantastic, lovely to chat with and very helpful. Sadly she couldn't discount the premium however she made the experience so much more pleasurable and human, certainly not your ordinary sale staff automaton who is content just to take your cash. After my first year of motorcycle insurance all my old insurer offered was ?100 off. MCE was ?100 cheaper than that and had extras too, love the RAC recovery one and Club MCE also sounds good. Staff were very polite and helpful, she took me through the whole process without rushing me or making me feel all they wanted was my cash. HIGHLY RECOMENDED.

What can I say other than great! I've changed my policy 3 times and when I've asked about things on my policy I have always been given good, knowledgeable information. Kudos to them, Spoke to an incredibly friendly bloke!
Where do I start? MCE can offer a 65% discount on your car insurance if you have your motorbike policy with them, and RAC breakdown cover, so I thought I would give them a call. I got through to Kerry Salter. She was cheerful, polite and very friendly and she knows her stuff. She explained to me about the different categories that cars are in despite how small there engines are when it comes down to the cost of the policy and named other cars that would be cheaper to insure for future reference. She informed me about there fantastic NCB scheme.
I would get an extra 7 years NCB, if I didn't have to make a claim throughout my policy as they take into account that you have a previous amount of years on the road with your motorbike. The quote was cheaper than what I had found on price comparison websites, but I needed some work doing to my car and then to put it through its MOT. Kerry offered straight away to call me back in a few days, which she did, but I hadn't got my car sorted in time, so again, she offered to call me back a few days later.
Kerry called me on the Thursday as promised, and my car was ready. However, the day before I had a cheaper quote through a local independent broker because they allow your endorsements to not account for after 4 years unlike most companies, which are 5. I explained this to Kerry and I felt no pressure from her that I should take the policy out with MCE because of the extras that they offer. She said she would speak to her manager as she knew they would be unable to take the points from my licence until next year. The manager took a massive amount of money off my original quote, which I did not hesitate to purchase. MCE Insurance has been the best company I have taken a policy out with over 12 years for what they offer, cost, and customer services.
Kerry Salter by far is exceptional at her job; I have never spoken to a nicer, more informative person regarding anything. I think she is wasted behind that desk and needs to be up front as a spokes woman for the business or in the promotional part of the company. As a member of Club MCE for four years now, I have had the pleasure of experiencing some fantastic days at MCE British Superbike Championship, from grid walks, to doing magazine articles . But the most amazing experience of all was a VIP trip to Assen in a private plane, the team were wonderful and looked after us all day. We were wined and dined, had a safety car lap and grid walks, nothing was ever too much trouble. Having attended many MCE BSB meetings over the past few years I have always found the MCE team at the circuit to be very approachable, always greeted with a huge smile and always very helpful with any questions anybody has. Oh and they do great insurance deals too.
I just took out a multi bike policy with MCE and got a great deal. I spoke to Glenn Robinson who was very good and I got 15 months for the price of 12. I needed to call my dealer to get the VIN / Reg number of the new bike, and to save sitting in the queue when calling back, Glenn called me. Fantastic. I would highly recommend calling them, because the deal I got was MUCH cheaper than I could find online (Bear in mind of course, multibike policies are hard to find online). As for "BikeSure" (Adrian Flux), who I had to cancel the single bike policy with, they thought it was acceptable to give me a ?2.33 refund for the 6 months insurance remaining. I WON'T be using them again.

I recently swapped my insurance on my bike and was more than happy with the service provided. I spoke with a person in customer services who managed to talk me through the options in a straightforward way that was easily understood. I found him and MCE to be helpful and understood the requirements I needed as a fellow biker .The policy I got was not worth comparing with other company's as it was so low and over all I'm happy. I would definitely recommend MCE to anyone looking to insure.
Have just renewed my insurance with MCE - as ever a very straightforward process with good staff who know what they are doing and the result excellent rates for the 3 bikes I insure on 1 policy. I am a first time motorcyclist and have recently purchased a motorcycle after several years of driving a car for commuting purposes. Well what can I say? What insurance company gives you excellent value for money and so many extras with Club MCE. After a call from MCE I was whisked away to Assen in a private plane courtesy of the club, it was a champagne day from start to finish and I cannot thank MCE too much for this once in a lifetime trip.

8.30 souring high above the English coast our wonderful stewardess cracks open the bubbly for a lovely glass of bucks fizz.
8.40 pastries follow and we settle in for the short flight to Groningen
10.45 arrive at Groningen and after a brief visit through customs one of the managers from Assen TT Circuit speeds us off to a day of gold hospitality
11.15 arrive at the circuit and straight up to the VIP hospitality suite
12.50 after lunch and photos with Big Ed we are off for a grid walk
13.30. The highlight of the day for me, I get to hand out the trophies for the first race, how often does anyone get to do that?
The day continues with further VIP grid walks and a safety car round the track at high speed , got a great video of that, loads more beers and food at the hospitality suite, a pit lane walk and introduction to some of the riders, unfortunately 16.40 comes all too quickly and we are heading off back to the plane and back to Blighty . AN EXPERIENCE NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN.
I have just taken out a comprehensive motorcycle policy with MCE.
As usual, I went looking for the best possible quote for cover that I could find. After over twenty years as a biker, I thought this would be the usual frustrating experience, but for once I was pleasantly surprised.
After doing the usual on-line searches, I spoke with a really helpful chap called Adam at MCE who went to great lengths to get me the policy I needed. The service provided to me today was first rate, & I would not hesitate to recommend their service to any of my friends or family (& to all of you). The policy came at a very reasonable price, & was loaded with extras as standard (such as recovery, helmet/leather cover, courtesy bike, legal assistance). My previous insurer could not even come close to this price so it was a "no brainer" deciding to take them up on it.
All in all, I think that anyone could get a decent policy from MCE. Give it a go & you may be as surprised as I was.

Today I purchased a new bike and MCE was the cheapest insurance by far! I don't have a no claims bonus as this is my first vehicle. I spoke to a gentleman called Glenn Robinson, he was fantastic, gave me all the details I needed straight away. Once I had gone through and purchased the insurance he sent me an email saying if I had any problems to contact him, and that if I had any other questions to also drop him a line.
He told me exactly what I needed to pay, set up the direct debit for when a date that suited me was and confirmed everything before pressing buy! He doubled checked and triple checked everything just to make sure. I will defiantly be recommending this company to others.
Recently contacted MCE for motorcycle insurance but was a bit apprehensive as I had a complicated issue regarding a no fault claim from a previous insurer. Had 2 laps of the track at Donington on Saturday behind Big Ed and a grid walk for race 2 on Sunday. This in itself is an absolutely brilliant offer! What was unexpected was the chance to watch the race from the podium, have photos with the trophies and then to be there for the presentation. This made my weekend, it was fantastic.
The staff on the day and on the phone were polite and courteous and were there to ensure we were all safe and in the right place at the right time. A friend that came with me was that impressed he will now be switching to MCE on his renewal!
Ryan dealt with my call and was very helpful, courteous and polite. Nothing was too much trouble and ultimately Ryan saved me a fair few pounds off my previous quote. I will definitely be using Ryan and MCE again.

After years of being screwed by every bike insurance company out there, I am at last with MCE, with a very promising start! This is the first company I've found that allows my NCB to be used on all my bikes, saving me hundreds! Not to mention the excellent service from the advisor on their help line, forget go compare meerkats...just phone a real, friendly person who did it all for me. Excellent customer service, excellent prices and the best features to their policies! Thank you.
Trying to sort out insurance for my sons 125cc bike got the run around from several companies until I contacted MCE's Kyle Bytby. Could not have been more helpful, he was polite, knowledgeable and actually wanted to help. Policy came with extras as standard such as personal injury and RAC cover, helmet and leathers etc... as well as finding us the best premium, well done!
Just insured my motorcycle with MCE, found there sales adviser to be very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. He seemed genuinely interested in finding me a policy that suited my needs and was at a good price.
I used the phone service to get my insurance sorted as I prefer talking to a person rather than using a PC. The phone was answered promptly and while placed on hold I did have a giggle at their jingle. Was put through to Ryan Cox who dealt with my insurance and even got me a better deal than I was offered online (nice one!) Ryan knew his stuff and even gave me further info which will improve my riding experience but also on how to keep my insurance low. I was told by a friend to check them out and I would recommend to a friend also!

Colin, Matt and Simon, Emma and all the others were fantastic; friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble; they worked incredibly hard all day. The pillion lap was the most incredible experience, one of the scariest and most exciting things I've ever done! The food, drinks and service were fabulous.
The MCE team are wonderful representatives and promote a proactive and positive approach to insurance. Colin arranged for me to give the riders (my heroes; I was like a school kid all day) their prizes after race 2.
I will continue to insure with MCE and promote the obvious benefits to insuring with MCE and being part of Club MCE to my friends and associates. It's a totally different and proactive approach to promoting and marketing your product and refreshing to see.

I just wanted to say what a great day I had at Oulton Park on Sunday where I was lucky enough to be on the grid for the first race thanks to MCE. Great work by the team with very slick organisation. First and foremost may I say what a pleasure it is to insure my motorcycle with you! From start to finish the whole experience was trouble free and as for the Mce experience at Oulton Park well what can I say, from the moment we arrived at the MCE stand your staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. Tim explained down to the letter exactly what was in store for our group, explained all safety do's and don'ts so before we got to trackside we knew what to expect. Top marks for Tim and co!
We went trackside and as the riders arrived to there positions we then mingled around the riders taking photos talking to riders and pit crews until the five minute mark and hooter. Then it was all over never to be bettered in my life, as we made our way out my partner and I were asked by your crew if we wanted to watch race 2 from pit lane! Well life could not have got any better for me! This 43 yr. old reverted to a child at Christmas! Thank you MCE for making my day, the whole experience was just too much to take in! I haven't stopped telling or showing photos to everyone that will listen!

I insure 4 motorbikes with MCE on a multibike policy and found the cost and service very good. The RAC breakdown came in handy when on my way to Dover I had a puncture on one of my bikes so I'm happy to recommend them.

Spoke to Owen today about setting up a new policy for my bike. Really easy to talk too, told me everything I needed to know regarding my policy, and went through all the terms step by step ensuring that I fully understood everything. Got my insurance sorted through MCE today. Glen the advisor was friendly, knowledgeable and straight to the point. Was all done in minutes and new bike insured and ready to go the next day! Very pleased with the service. After being with my old insurers for years, this is a welcome change.
Carl Montgomery is a thoroughly pleasant chap with whom had I had a beer in front of me and an evening to while away I could've easily talked bikes until the sunset and beyond.
Nice to speak to a young man that actually rides bikes and shares the amount of passion for them as do I. It was almost a shame to have to do the business side of the call, but we somehow managed to fit it in.
Policy change was effortless and this chap actually knew what I was talking about, such a pleasant change from some of the larger companies that within seconds it is obvious they have no idea of one end of a bike from the other.

I have a battle coming with a local authority after their road works deposited tar from a road dressing event onto my bike BMW 800ST - possible write off. I was getting nowhere with them then a call to MCE and whilst I still have the battle I know that they are there to support me during this process, the person who I spoke to today to the underwriters - whose advice was invaluable - to the Fletchers the solicitors who already have a plan.
Each time I have called the person has taken 'ownership' of the question/problem - not an expression I am happy with but it best describes the fact that they do care and are helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
I only took out the insurance 3 weeks ago and I am so glad I did.
It is a shame the local authority aren't the same - they could learn a lot from MCE.
At a difficult time after my accident, the people at MCE were fantastic, the team went beyond the call of duty, and made sure that I was supported with my claim. The legal support I was given, which was included in my policy were brilliant and assisted me in every way. Unbelievably the Group Chief Executive personally helped with my claim, and made sure that I was given a satisfactory payout rapidly, he then further assisted me when I had a problem when I took out a new policy, I was so impressed that he rolled his sleeves up and got his hands dirty, top guy and I would buy him a drink anytime! 10 out of 10 and my personal thanks to a great team at MCE

This was my first time with MCE, I just had a few questions to put answers to, and one quick call to Craig at customer services and all sorted!! If the rest of my experience with MCE is this good I will be staying with them for a long time!! Cheapest and easiest quote around, big bikes little bikes, give them a call! I was trying to renew my motorcycle insurance which was proving to be a headache, every time I thought I found a decent quote, figures would change and lots of confusing terms sent my way. This made the whole process very stressful. I came across MCE and my sales advisor was polite and helpful right from the start. She answered all of my questions and maintained professionalism through out. She ran me through all my options, and even chased up my previous insurers to ensure I could use my no claims bonus. She ran thorough all the stuff I needed to pay attention to (all this whilst I kept interrupting her with sudden questions I would think of)

The advisor rang soon after I had entered my details on GoCompare and was really polite and helpful. Spoke to an advisor who was great to talk to. They'd already quoted me for a renewal then I went online to compare and found they were still the cheapest... even cheaper than the renewal quote. So rang back and apparently I'd filled one of the questions in wrong which is why. Anyway he re-did my quote and it was still cheaper than the original. Plus he had a word with the manager and got it down even further. So all in all couldn't be happier.
Also found that a lot of them who work there ride bikes which is always good so had a good chat with him about the hazards of riding! Nice guy and very helpful.

I thought Naveen was very helpful when I rang up to get a quote. He was very clear, going into lots of detail about all elements of the policy so I felt confident I was getting the right thing. Very pleased overall.
Bought a policy with MCE but after checking found there was no pillion cover which I had asked for. Was outside of the 14 day change period but called and spoke to Craig Murray from customer services team. He listened, fixed the problem and waived the charge from his brokers and also the insurance company. All within ten minutes tops. Best customer service I have ever received.

I have had my bike insured by MCE now for 2 years , they are first class and very competitive , today I called to get quote on new bike I am thinking about and spoke with an advisor , what a pleasure to speak with someone who knows about bikes and makes you feel good about being on a phone , she couldn't have been more helpful , I will always go to a company who give me a personal service as I know if I need them they will pull out the stops to deal with me fairly .

They always seem upbeat and like customer service matters to them. My particular thanks go to Kerry who dealt with my last call. Her customer service is brilliant and working in a shop I realize how hard it is to keep that attitude up on a long shift and how rarely customers show they appreciate it. I have never called MCE without enjoying the call and this is the main reason I stick with them. Also you are the only company who makes going on hold while waiting an enjoyable experience. Thanks a lot mate you've been excellent in the service that you've given to which I have found it be quick, professional and effective. It may have been a small query but you dealt with it really well and took the initiative to speak to manager to solve the issue without being asked. You also took time send out some important numbers in case of an emergency and sent out some stickers which I'm going proudly put on my bike to promote your company because of your service.
It may seem weird this feedback but I also work for an insurance provider so I can relate to what is expected when a customer calls and you've exceeded my expectations.

I bought my motorcycle insurance via compare the market and had made 2 errors in the application online. I noticed these when the policy documents were emailed to me. I was impressed with the speed my insurance was dealt with initially. I was further impressed by the way my corrections were handled by one of the customer service guys. Just picked up my first big sports bike, a big change from my FZ6! MCE gladly provided my insurance for a lot less than others!
I insured my VFR800 with MCE with all the extras for ?164. And that's for 15 months. Great company.
I have a multi bike policy. MCE is all you need.
These guys are by far the cheapest around!! I passed my test in Feb I pay 800 TFT leather and helmet cover, European brake down cover and ride any bike third party!! For a 2003 zx6r!! Got my mate on to MCE too!! He was happy with his quote and highly recommends MCE. I'm from Liverpool and the kids round here have an unhealthy obsession with bikes, Bennetts wanted 3 grand!!! Haha and they never offered the brake down cover, leather cover or ride any bike 3rd party!! MCE so much better, FACT!!!

I am just writing to praise one of your customer service staff, Mr Glen O'leary.My fianc_ Mr Anthony Roach had an accident on 31 August 2012, where he was knocked from his bike by a car driver cutting into his lane of traffic. MCE have been great, Glen was very helpful over and above the norm, calmly helping us, and actually made us feel like there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Anthony is still not able to climb onto a bike due to his injuries, but with the help of family we have been able to purchase another bike until the claim is sorted, for when he is better which has definitely perked him up. len kindly and painlessly arranged in advance the insurance policy transfer to the new bike. I just felt that you should be informed of this wonderful member of your team, I myself work in customer service and people only seem to contact companies to complain never to praise someone, so I wanted to change this. I would not normally take the time to send these sorts of emails but was extremely pleased with the performance of one of your colleagues, Nicky, who works in the MCE call centre. I did not get her surname but trust my reference will identify who took my call.I have spent all morning looking online for quotes for my motorbike through a number of price comparison sites and through the brokers directly.
I got through to Nicky at MCE and immediately it was clear that she knew what she was saying and genuinely seemed like she wanted to help me find the best deal. Please be advised that I have been liaising with Linda Swales from MCE regarding a motorbike insurance taken out on behalf of my son. She has been very very helpful, clear and precise with her communication and explanations. She is updating a Policy Schedule for my son, Lee Turner and to-date, she has returned calls when desired and her customer communication skills are clearly excellent. I had the opportunity of speaking to Glen regarding my insurance policy. I would very much like to inform you that Glen was really such a nice guy!! My policy was dealt with in a professional manner. Glen has a nice personality and it was a pleasure talking to him! Anyway because we live in difficult times now and too many people tend to only focus on the negative; I felt it was only right to reverse the polarity for a change and take note of excellent customer service!
As Richard's supervisor I'm writing to pass on my thanks. He sorted out my upgrade on my motorbike policy. He was polite, friendly and mentioned some interesting products (the excess "insurance" in particular).I'm looking forward to renewing my policy in April and talking to your great customer service again.
I rang your call centre at 11:30am on the 31st Jan 13 and spoke to an advisor named Sam, who I believe said she was in the customer relations department. I would just like to send you some feedback about how professional, understanding and helpful she was to me during the call. It was a pleasure to call my insurance company and speak to an advisor who was happy to explain bits of my policy in greater detail until I understood and didn't make me feel stupid. She also understood my current problems and offered to give me a call which suits my work timetable and when she had received more information about my queries, which is extremely helpful. She was also efficient but I never felt like I was being rushed to get off the phone.
Just a short note to say the phone call I just received from MCE Insurance was without doubt industry leading. The caller was efficient, knowledgeable, conversational and very informative. I enjoyed being sold insurance so much so I had to write and tell you.
Just thought I'd write an email regarding a policy that I had taken out with MCE insurance. I would like to praise Kerry for all her efforts and excellent customer service, she was extremely helpful and managed to set up my policy without any complications. I have just bought a 2007 Yamaha R1 and will be keeping the bike for several years to come. I will be staying with MCE insurance for the same period of time because of Kerry's service. Following my accident in November 2012, I wish to congratulate your company for the excellent service received. I have just come off the telephone to Richard in your department after discussing my son's insurance and just wanted to give you some feedback. Wow, what can I say - what a fantastic customer service attitude he has - the nature of my call was not straight forward, firstly the policy is in my 17 year-olds name so we had to overcome the data protection associated with that and after speaking with my son, Richard added authorisation to the policy for me to speak on Elliott's behalf, phew!! Secondly he was able to add a change in licence details to the policy, re-quote with these changes and add breakdown cover to his existing policy. Thirdly, he went through a quote for a new policy when we upgraded the bike (cancel and replace). All I can say is nothing was too much trouble for Richard, he remained jolly throughout the conversation and answered all of my questions with full explanations and covered absolutely everything I threw at him, clearly and concisely!! What a credit he is to MCE and because of his professionalism, we will definitely be doing the cancel and replace option we discussed with him. Many thanks and keep up the good work!!

I hope there is no problem with me contacting you in order to provide you with some customer feedback.I am a new rider and recently took out my first insurance policy with MCE...this was a daunting idea for me at first as I am not very familiar with taking out contracts of any sort, MCE have been very helpful as a whole and I will be recommending MCE to a couple of my friends who are too, in the process of purchasing there first motorcycle. A big part of purchasing my first bike has been dealing with MCE and on more than one occasion I have been put through to Reece to answer my queries. He is always polite, friendly and most importantly knowledgeable & helpful. Amongst other questions and uncertainties he has helped me in upgrading my insurance policy and went through everything including all the benefits of upgrading in good detail to make sure I had a good understanding and was comfortable with any decision making. Reece has also helped me through upgrading my RAC Breakdown cover. Prior to my cancellation of my policy, I had a query on it that needed addressing. I spoke to Matt Underwood who said he would look into it, sort it, and phone me back at 15.30hrs same day. He was as good as his word. Bang on 15.30hrs he phoned me. He had looked into the problem and got it sorted to my satisfaction. It is thanks to Matt that I continued with my policy and it is solely because of Matt's help that when I get my next bike I will be moving it with yourselves. He was very courteous and professional. May I bring to your attention the dealings which I had with your team this afternoon. I am very impressed with the service which I have received, and the way in which I have been dealt with. Firstly I sent an email to MCE regarding a letter I received from them, advising me that my policy is due for renewal on 23/09/2012. As you are more than aware, it can be a stressful time of year worrying about renewal of a policy, and getting the right deal for myself.
I gave your team my details to contact me, to negotiate a renewal quote, and no sooner had i sent the email, I was utterly shocked with the almost immediate response from your team member 'Moz'. I pride myself with being organized and having the relevant information and details at hand, however on this occasion was 'caught short' so to speak, due to the speediness of your response to the email. I felt flustered that i could not provide Moz with the required info that was required, however he put me at ease, and was extremely helpful in finding and bringing to my attention, better deals for my interest, than I had found.
I found Moz to be very polite and courteous, respectful and helpful throughout the call and had it not been for him, I would have definitely taken the wrong policy for myself. I see Moz as an Asset to you and he is a team member to be proud of, as I'm sure all your staff are too, hence my continuing to renew with MCE for the third year now. This morning I rang your customer service department and spoke to an agent called Hazel. Hazel had a very good manner and understood my situation. She was able to solve my issue and reassure me that my policies are in order. I would like to commend Hazel for her excellent help.
My name is Robert Burns and it is my pleasure to inform you of the fantastic...... no, amazing girl called Linda who help me with a problem I encountered with my new insurer and also solved it within half an hour of our call ending this morning. She phoned me back as promised with everything fixed. My insurer was about to cancel my bike policy so I phoned MCE and told Linda the problem and without me even asking her, she offered to phone them and sort it out which she of course did. I have had many mixed encounters with customer services both in the flesh and online but if Linda is the calibre of employee you have at your company then your complaints department have nothing to fear. She is nothing but excellent all round and she should be commended for her sterling work.
Many people are quick to write letters of complaint, having dealt with your customer services, I feel compelled to write instead a letter of praise. I spoke to Richard and I must say what a pleasant, friendly and helpful person he was too.

I'm writing to you to say that I wish to commend one of your colleagues, Marco, who today has patiently handled a number of quite complex enquiries about motorcycle insurance for me. He has been immensely patient and cheerful. Because of the complexity of my needs, the details of which he has, I may well have to undertake some more research elsewhere before I finally come to a decision as to what to do, whether to give up motorcycling, bite the bullet for insurance costs or look for some other form of transport. Perhaps an electric bicycle may be the answer!
I would just like to say how helpful Tim was in helping me with my insurance. I have never experienced the extremely high customer service that I did from Tim. He was outstanding, I cant sing his praises enough. I am a manager in retail and know exactly how we want our staff to deliver, Tim was above and beyond I believe anyone's expectation. I always find that dealing with insurance companies is some what of a hassle, it seems no-one is interested in helping and just want your money; but not in this case today. Tim made me feel valued, using his own feelings knowing what it is like. He went out of his way, no matter how long it took to help me. He added his thoughts and made good conversation whilst checking the system. With the highly respectable service he gave, I did not think twice about taking a policy out with anyone else. Very, very satisfied customer, and I will be telling this anecdote to everyone I know to recommend MCE, and I know where I will be coming next year! He should be highly praised. Outstanding!!!

I previously spoke to a different broker, where I found the staff member to be a trainee and rude. However when speaking to Michael, he was professional and resolved the matter and apologised for any wait. Also I thought the ability to call him back on his extension number was a nice personal touch, for which I shall definitely recommend my friends.

Getting the best deal on insurance can be a huge challenge nowadays, I spoke with twelve different companies and had some terribly frustrating issues. The pillion lap with Jimmy Storrar was fantastic, and the opportunity to present the trophies for the first race on Sunday was something I will never forget. Watching both races from the podium was without doubt the best seat in the house, shared with people who share the same passion for racing as we do. The whole day was great, and the hospitality shown to us by MCE was second to none. Everyone was extremely friendly and gave us the opportunity to see things that you would normally never experience, so I would ask you to pass on my thanks to everyone involved in making the day one I will never forget.

I would like to bring to your attention the excellent customer service received from one of your staff members, Kelly Macdonald. Kelly has gone far beyond her duties in helping me with my Excess claim, as I have taken out the Platinum Policy that protects my excess. Kelly was great, always on the phone or email trying to really help and speed up the process for me receiving my money back. Kelly could have done her job and that would have been it, but she has shown a real human side which is so valued when you are dealing with events such this. Kelly has also gone out of her way yesterday, when AXA has requested an electronic copy of my Insurance Policy Document in order to speed the claim up which I do not have in PDF, I have kindly asked her whether she is able to send this to them and she did. I have heard back from AXA this morning that my claim has now been approved and I should receive the payment within the next few days. Kelly is not only very helpful, but also very kind and compassionate with a great telephone manner. I truly hope I will not have any more accidents in the future, but God forbid I do, Kelly is exactly the person you want to be dealing with should you need to. Just a line to express my gratitude towards MCE insurance, but mostly to thank Owen for being lightning fast. Being a motorcycle BSB fan myself, it's that which caught my eye to contact you guys but Owen was faultless in making me feel good about the quote he sorted out for me. I thought I would take some time to thank you for the support your advisor Richard gave me in relation to my Son's Insurance Policy with MCE today I found him very helpful, and felt he exceeded my expectations in relation to calling my son to get authority to access the policy.
I rang in on Saturday morning at 11am when I spoke to Richard. As soon as I started speaking to Richard I got the impression that he wanted to help me and he had a friendly manner. Because Richard had to carry out work on the computer and as they always seem to do on these occasions the system went slow, we were able to have a conversation about many things and being retired myself I was interested to find out what he thought of working for yourselves.
Normally whenever I get into such conversions like this, I hear about how rubbish the company is. In this instance, this was not the case at all and Richard informed me of how much he enjoys working for you and that he feels that working with you is like having another family. He also added that you have made arrangements for staff when the next big football tournament takes place and he is looking forward to it. Having dealt with your company via Richard and also now knowing that rather than like most companies you do not have disaffected staff but rather staff that wish to represent you in a positive way then when it comes to renewing my policy next year I will take that into consideration. Please pass on my thanks to Richard.
Just a brief note to compliment Richard when I spoke to him earlier today. He was courteous and helpful and when he had to put me on hold he explained what he was doing and once he came back on the line apologised for any delay. I just wanted to drop you an email following my recent renewal with MCE. When I called yesterday, I got to speak to Kylie. Kylie as expected asked about my renewal, any changes to my circumstances and what it was I wanted from the policy. She treated me not just as a renewal but as a potential customer which is as I see it treating me fairly and excellent service. I explained i was still at work and advised Kylie I wanted to sort it out as quickly as possible as well ensuring my needs were met. Kylie offered to call me back the following day at a time convenient for me. I agreed and arranged a time. Once again Kylie delivered and called as expected with a price better than I was expecting. Not only this, but she had answered my simple questions. I was extremely happy. Her overall manner, confidence, attitude and professionalism has reaffirmed my faith in MCE. Having contacted MCE's Customer Services Department I was greeted by a member of staff named, Richard. This gentleman dealt with all matters in a few minutes and allayed any concerns I had over information which I had previously supplied to MCE. He immediately understood my concerns and provided a professional and courteous service. I will be recommending MCE Insurance to my fellow bikers in the area not just for the competitive quotes with benefits but also the manner in which people like Richard communicate with us 2 wheel road users. I would just like to reiterate my gratitude for the fantastic service I have recently received from Jill, who I believe is one of your agents. I first spoke to Jill on Saturday, when she expressed expert knowledge and immediately advised me of the situation. All of this was delivered in a very professional yet friendly manner. She went on to explain exactly what I had to sign to ensure that I wouldn't be charged further. She not only delivered on what she first agreed to do but went above and beyond to ensure that it wouldn't happen again. Although my query probably wasn't something completely out of the norm, each individual person's issue is a big deal to them. It was nice to speak to someone who empathises with that. Really a fantastic service. Within my company, my role is to analyse customer calls to see why they are calling, what their issues are and how they are dealt with. Sometimes our problems cannot always be fixed or resolved however I believe if all customer enquiries are dealt with to the standard that Jill has displayed then no customer will leave a call unhappy. Yesterday when I woke up I had no idea how AWESOME my day was going to be. Around 10.30 I was checking my e-mails and social media updates, as I usually do, when I saw MCE Insurance's Big Ed post on Facebook: Big Ed: I, Superbiker 2 preview this afternoon in Landan! Feeling a bit mischievous...who wants in this exclusive event, I can sneak you and a friend in let me know...NOW! To win, I just needed to be free from 3.30 till 8PM and RSVP quickly. Guess what? I'M ON VACATION! Of course I was free! So I told my husband and asked him to leave work earlier. Lucky me again - HE DID! One hour later Big Ed asked for my contact number and in 1 minute I received a call from Traci McLean (Marketing Executive for MCE Insurance), who explained the details. Among other things, she said I would meet some of the British Superbike riders - WHAAAAT? Oh yeah! I met my husband at the tube station and when we arrived at the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill I spotted my living idol Tommy Hill posing for pictures. I had to restrain myself. Then I saw Big Ed and Big Ed saw me. Not only he saw me, but he also took me in his arms and carried me in - that was a little embarrassing, but I loved it! There were only interesting people there: the film producers, journalists, Swan Yamaha team owner Shaun Muir, BSB riders Gary Mason, Simon Andrews, Jon Kirkham, Peter Hickman, former Olympic athlete Derek Redmondand, and a lot more. We had a few drinks and sat to watch the movie - like a boss! As the first one, "I, Superbiker 2 - The showdown" seems like a season review. It shows how each of the six contenders (Shakey Byrne, Josh Brooks, John Hopkins, Tommy Hill, Ryuichi Kiyonari and Michael Laverty) managed to get to the BSB showdown. In my opinion it would be nicer if it was done in a more linear way, instead of going back and forth to show them individually. But with it we could remember all the pain John Hopkins went through with his finger, what a bad season it was for Kiyonari, learn about Shakey Byrne's opinion on the point system for the showdown, and cheer again seeing that final and most dramatic lap in the history of BSB, in which Tommy Hill wins by 6 thousands of a second. It's a must-see for any superbike lover - especially those who don't have a chance to watch the championship on telly. In the end, after a round of applause I finally asked Katie Martin and Tommy Hill to pose for a picture with me. I asked his opinion about a certain championship and he answered me very nicely. I also took pictures with Gary Mason and MCN sport editor Gary Pinchin. Then we left for more drinks at The Lonsdale. Big Ed welcomed me there again and we danced! I was so happy that I forgot to ask Shaun Muir for an internship, but that's alright. It was a great opportunity and a wonderful gift from MCE Insurance that we will never forget. Thanks!
