APP POLICY VALIDATION

When you take out an MCE policy, you may need to agree to download the iApprove App to submit important documents to validate your policy.

Validating your policy reduces fraud, keeps premiums low, and ensures your information is correct and your policy is valid. It means that should you ever need to claim, we have your information and can get a straight to work.

iApprove saves you time and allows you to conveniently upload photos of your key ID documents 24 hours a day. After installing the app, we will remind you using in-app messages, sms and email when you need to complete something. You may occasionally be asked to re-take a picture. Once you have successfully uploaded all of your documents and they have been accepted, you will receive confirmation of their acceptance via the app.

How to download the iApprove App?

You can click one of the two links below which are based on what type of phone operating system you use, or follow this simple step by step guide.

1. Open the shop icon on your phone, If you've got an Apple Iphone it's called the App Store and looks like this.

2. If you've got an Android phone, like a Samsung, It's called Google Play and looks like this.

3. Search "iApprove" and click the relevant title.

4. The image seen here should appear with the corresponing example pages. Select "Get".

5. Open the App and follow the steps to get your policy validated.

6. Head to the iApprove page for the next steps on getting set up on the App.

MCE INSURANCE APP

This is process for submitting MyLicence check results to the app if the standard process does not work. For this process to work the customer needs to already have obtained a Share Code and the last 8 digits of licence number.

1. Retrive a check code by either calling the DVLA or getting a check code from your computer using the MyLicence Check service provider by gov.uk

2. Once you have a check code on the app, click on the link to “check someone else’s driving licence information”.

3. Click the green “Start Now” button.

4. Enter the last 8 digits of your driving licence number

5. Enter the check code you should have already generated. It is case sensitive.

6. Click on the green “Check licence” button

7. Click on the link to “Save or print this licence”

8. Make sure you click on “Use This Document” at the bottom of the page. (If you don’t do this, you will need to go over the first ten steps again.)
