Thruxton – Round 2...

Thruxton is set to be pretty interesting this weekend, as the MCE Insurance BSB season enters its second event of the year.

There is no Hodgeson, as he’s still recovering after coming off at Brands but as the race days approach, the rest of the field are engaged in more chat than back to back episodes of Loose Women.

Stuart Easton has admitted that he’s still not 100% fit after his pre-season leg gashing AND getting an infection in it after Brands Hatch, but is still determined to get the most out of his Swan Honda while his team mate James Ellison is confident he’ll erase the 4 point deficit that sees him in 2nd place. Double winner in the past at Thruxton Ryuichi Kiyonari says he wants to win this weekend and anything less is not good enough. Josh Brookes in his home round and has his sights set on a win. Michael Laverty thinks Thruxton is ‘ballsey’ and is determined to bounce back from his disappointing start with some podium time and Championship leader Tommy Hill says he’ll be settling for nothing less than podium finishes.

All in all, the pre weekend build-up has worn me out – I’m just looking forward to the racing getting underway so I can chill the hell out. See you there...
