As a people focused centre, we always welcome new people and our recruitment process begins once your CV has been received.
We will review all of the applicants and shortlist those that will have a telephone interview lasting around 25 minutes which allows you to explain about your working history, any gaps that there may be and also for us to discuss with you in a little more detail the role that you are applying for.
After this, a shortlist is prepared for a face to face interview with a Manager from the prospective business area and a representative from the Development team and this enables you to see what working at MCE looks like and gives you a better feel for the organisation. It also allows us to get to know you better as well as we need to make decisions about who is hired and who might miss out on an opportunity.
Customer Service - Sylvia
I have been with MCE for 5 years now, I started off in the Sales Team before moving into a new role taking calls regarding accidents, thefts and vandalism claims.
This led me into my current role in the Customer Service Team, where I am able to connect with our customers daily, and help them with any needs they may have. I am passionate about what I do. I enjoy learning about bikes, and I feel that at MCE we pull together to get the job done. It's a great team of people, it is just like being in a family.
Claims - Abigail
I started with MCE in March 2014 as a Customer Service Advisor and thanks to my hardworking attitude I was instantly recognised. With this recognition, after only six months I was selected for an internal development programme that highlights talent within the business.
In April 2015, I wanted to progress my career further and applied for a position within our Third Party Claims Team, just over a year in the role I was promoted to the Third-Party Team Manager. I worked hard and showed dedication to the role, and as a result I was then promoted again in January 2018, and I am now the Department Manager for our Defendant Pre-Litigation and Post-Litigation Claims Teams.
I am still ambitious, driven, and passionate about my career at MCE, they're a really supportive employer and thanks to them I am in a fulfilling and diverse job.
