Tech Solutions – Project Manager

Full Time – Permanent

Salary: Depending upon experience, up to £40k
Location: Home Working/Flexible Working/Hybrid

Overview

As MCE are developing new systems, improving existing processes and continuing to grow, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Tech Solutions Team. The Tech Solutions Team are responsible for managing change across all areas of MCE and work on various projects as required to support the business strategy.

Primary Responsibilities & Objectives

- Managing projects through scoping, planning, launching, monitoring, and closing phases.
- Working with Technical Business Analyst and wider business areas to understand and define project goal, strategy, objectives, and steps.
- Delivery of project updates to key stakeholders during steering committee meetings and ad hoc requests.
- Allocating tasks to project team and monitoring progress and completion of tasks through the jira board, working with Technical Business Analyst where required.
- Facilitating project meetings.
- Managing project risks throughout project lifecycle.
- Creation and maintenance of project documentation such as brief, jira board, plan, progress report,risk register.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of initiative, organisation, and self-motivation.
- Stakeholder management skills – ability to display confidence when interacting with senior audiences.
- Ability to produce high quality project documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to delegate tasks and provide support to others.
- Ability to take ownership of problems and coordinate appropriate internal resources to help solve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Experience of delivering business change, managing IT implementations and technology projects in a complex environment.
- Personal lines insurance experience.
- Project management certification e.g., Prince2 / Agile.
