Big Eds Blog - Cadwell MCE BSB Trackday
This weekend I hit Cadwell Park for a second weekend in a row! However on this occasion I was able to get out on track and not just watch from the side-lines!
Was it in the MCE British Superbike championship? Sadly not, they won't let me race in the series due to the size of my head being a distraction for the rest of the grid... On this occasion I was joined by other bike enthusiasts on our MCE BSB track day in association with MSVT Trackdays.
We were joined by Chris 'The Stalker' Walker who came down to help and advise the riders on how best to tackle the narrow and physical circuit, as well as answer any questions from first time riders of the track and also discuss his MCE BSB career and championship hopes.
We had an array of bikes that showed up for the day, from 2-strokes to immaculate superbikes, it was fantastic to see the improvement in every rider throughout the day, before long the riders were all roaring over the Mountain, as well as comparing knee sliders to see who was giving their bike a proper workout.
At the end of the day we provided a BBQ for the riders and it was great to see a biking community come together and talk about the hobby that they all share and love. Thanks again to everyone who came along, it really was one to remember! Ride on!
