Bucket load raised for Children in Need
Friday 16th of November 2012 saw MCE enter into the fundraising spirit in support of the BBC Children in Need appeal.
The full team took part in some incredible fundraising activities including a cross company non-uniform day, a cake sale and a number of manager related forfeits. As well as this solo efforts were made by a number of staff members including a sponsered walk, skipping, weight loss challenges and some head shaving, all in aid of the charity.
In 2011 the total raised was a massive £702.64 and the challenge was to see whether the MCE Insurance team could top that amount.
The challenge was accepted and the target was smashed with MCE raising a total of £1010.22 which was paid into the Children in Need account.
The amount raised is a terrific testament to the generosity of MCE Insurance people and the hard work that went into organising the day.
