Charley Boorman Brand Hopping!
MCE Insurance, the UK's No.1 Bike Insurer and title sponsors of the MCE British Superbikes saw a scorcher of a weekend at the Snetterton 300 circuit last weekend with track temperatures soaring to over 40 degrees in both races.
Brookes secured pole position by one thousandth of a second ahead of Laverty in qualifying which made race one an exhilarating three way battle between the aussie, Laverty and the 2011 MCE British Superbike Champion, Tommy Hill. Laverty led for most of the race but Hill got past before Brookes allowing Hill to take the win for the second time in the 2012 championship.
Presenting the trophies for the race was Carole Nash ambassador Charley Boorman, doing a spot of brand hopping for the MCE Insurance BSB - proving Charley really is the bikers' ambassador, smiling like Big Ed on MCE's greatest stage!
