Honda moves into the world of training
Honda (UK) has opened four licensed motorcycle training centres in southern England running out of four Honda dealers. The Honda School of Motorcycling initiative aims to provide CBTs, conversion courses, refresher training and the full license qualification.
Honda is hoping that this initiative will bring back the millions of license holders in the UK who no long ride or that never got started. Over 5 million licenses are held but there are only 1.2 million active riders. The four dealers taking on the training wing initially are 21st Moto in Swanley, Kent; Belle Vue Motorcycles in Southend-on-sea, Essex; P&H Motorcycles in Crawley, West Sussex and Doble Motorcycles in Coulsdon, Surrey.
Honda aims to eventually open 40 of these centres across the UK.
