Expansion plans bring good news for local Job seekers
Northamptonshire based MCE Insurance are proud to be known as the UK's Number One provider of motorcycle insurance and now they are well on the way to becoming the local area's Number One provider of career opportunities. The sales force at MCE has now grown to the point that the company is taking on additional premises in which to house the team.
The title sponsors of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Series have their main UK base in Rushden, Northants and are now busy renovating offices in nearby Wellingborough to provide a state-of-the-art workspace for part of their sales team to operate. This move has been necessary due to a 26% increase in headcount over the past 12 months, a figure that is in stark contrast to the unemployment pattern in the local area during the same period.
Head of Talent Matt Duck, responsible for the attraction of people to MCE commented; "Unemployment in the Rushden area has risen to over 5% recently, which shows how difficult the job market has been recently.
