CLUB MCE TERMS & CONDITIONS
MCE INSURANCE POLICY REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN PRIZE
You understand that you are providing your information to MCE Insurance Ltd. The information you provide will be used to contact you if you are a potential winner or at a later date in the event of your motorcycle insurance being up for renewal. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion are to be directed to MCE Insurance Ltd.
1. ELIGIBILITY: CLUB MCE (The promotion) is open to anyone who obtains an MCE policy for motorcycle insurance. Only one prize per entrant will be eligible. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify or withdraw the prize of any entrant found to be tampering with the voting process for the Promotion or to be acting in any manner deemed by the promoter to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions. Those who apply after the closing date will not be able to win but still may be contacted by MCE Insurance Ltd.
By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
2. HOW TO PLAY: To be entered into the draw for Club MCE simply obtain an insurance policy for a motorcycle and send an email to victoria.cawley@mceinsurance.com with your full name, address and registration.
3. ABOUT THE CONTEST: Any entries not in accordance with the entry instructions will be rejected. One entry per person only. Third parties and bulk entries will not be accepted.
Club MCE will be open from 12:00pm 13/07/2018 and the closing date for all entries is 12:00pm 27/07/2018. MCE Insurance Ltd accepts no responsibility for competition entries not added to the draw for any reason e.g. entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of entry will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
4. THE PRIZE & WINNER NOTIFICATION: : The winner of the ultimate Club MCE experience will receive for themselves and a plus one full VIP hospitality, a safety car lap, grid walks and premium race viewing positions. All these experience inclusions are given at the discretion of the promotor, race organiser and circuit operators and they reserve the right to remove an element at any time. The experiences included are also dependent on race location and weather conditions. If not selected for the ultimate Club MCE experience, 25 other winners will receive tickets for MCE UGP bike week. The prizes will be given on a random selection basis. Winners will receive a phone call notifying them if they have won, they will be sent a pack via 1st class post and need to provide a postal address in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland. No cash alternative will be offered. Entrants will not be notified if they have not won.
5. CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating, participants agree to be bound by and abide by these Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator, which shall be final and binding in all respects and not subject to appeal. By participating in this Promotion, contestants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Administrator, their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors and assigns (collectively and individually, the 'Released Parties') from any and all actions, claims, loss or damage to person(s) or property arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part from participation in this Promotion, or any Promotion related activity, and/or acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize(s), with the sole exception of liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence or breach by any of Released Parties of these Rules where waiver of such liability is prohibited by law. By accepting a prize, the winner authorizes the Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, voice, likeness, prize information and city and county of residence in any media now known or hereafter discovered, world wide, including on the World Wide Web and Internet, in perpetuity, at any time or times, in programming, advertising, trade and/or promotional material relating to this Promotion or on a winner's list (if applicable) without additional compensation or notice, review or approval (unless prohibited by law).The Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at the Sponsor's sole discretion, without obligation or compensation.
To the extent permitted by law, released parties make no warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the use of any prize, including, without limitation, its quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The preceding excludes any express and legally required warranties on the sponsor's products; such warranties being limited by its stated terms/conditions.
6. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: : 'Released Parties' (as defined above) are not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions beyond their reasonable control, or for technical failures of any kind beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to electronic malfunction, programming errors or failures, or damage or failure of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the Promotion (in whole or in part) is not capable of running as planned, as solely determined by the Sponsor, including, but not limited to, by infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or technical failures or any other problems beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control that can corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or disqualify any individual who tampers with (or attempts to tamper with) the registration process, game play process/operation of the Promotion. In any such event, the Sponsor shall conduct the Promotion and make the Promotion prizes available to be won in a manner which is fair, appropriate and consistent with the spirit of these Official Rules, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. Notice of cancellation/termination/modification/suspension of Promotion will be posted on the Big Ed's Facebook page. Tampering (as referenced above) includes but is not limited to use of any unauthorised apparatus (be it hardware, software or otherwise) to participate in the Promotion. Insofar as any of these problems arise due to circumstances beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to (or any problems or technical malfunctions of) any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, hardware, software, failure of any e-mail or Instant Win Game play to be received/properly recorded (or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of registration, entry, points, scores or other information, or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information) on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at the Web site, or any combination thereof. The Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for any injury or damage to contestant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Promotion, or Web site. Further, Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Web site users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion. Participants further agree not to damage or cause interruption of the Promotion and/or prevent others from participating in the Promotion. CAUTION: Any attempt to damage any online service or website or undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion violates criminal or civil laws. If such an attempt is made or an individual otherwise attempts to defraud the sponsor, the sponsor may disqualify any contestant making such attempt and seek damages to the fullest extent of the law.
7. DATA PRIVACY/PRIVACY POLICY: Participants agree that personal data, especially name and email address, may be processed, stored and otherwise used for the purposes and within the context of the Promotion and any other purposes outlined in these Official Rules. The data may also be used by the Sponsor in order to check participants' identity, or to otherwise verify their eligibility to participate in the Promotion. Participants have a right to access any personal data held by the Sponsor by writing to big.ed@mceinsurance.com. If participant's data is not provided, participant will be ineligible to participate in the Promotion.
You may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminder e-mails from the Sponsor. Consenting to receive promotional or reminder e-mails is optional and does not have to be agreed upon in order to be eligible to participate in the Promotion and does not improve your chances of winning.
