Motorbikes have a number of advantages over cars which make them a great choice for UK roads.

They're cheaper to run, both in terms of fuel costs and maintenance, and they're also much more environmentally friendly. In addition, motorbikes are often quicker and easier to park than cars.

Of course, motorbikes do have some disadvantages too. They can be less comfortable in bad weather, and you're more exposed to the elements when you're riding one. But overall, we think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks - which is why we think more people should consider motorcycle transport as an option.

The cost-of-living crisis is affecting more and more people in the UK, with many struggling to make ends meet. So, if you're looking for ways to save money, ditching your car in favour of a motorcycle could be a good option.

A recent study by the Department for Transport found that, on average, motorbikes and scooters cost just over half as much to run as cars. Over the course of a year, that could add up to big savings.

If you're thinking of making the switch to two wheels, electric bikes could be a consideration to save even more money on fuel costs and insurance. Have a read of our guide to electric motorcycle insurance. It's important to make sure you're properly covered before you hit the road.
