MCE Insurance’s Subscribe & Ride is a revolutionising the way motorcycle insurance works. For too long bikers haven’t had a flexible option for how to control their insurance costs. Subscribe & Ride changes everything, as it’s the UK’s first usage-based motorcycle insurance.
Released in January 2023, Subscribe & Ride is only available direct through MCE’s website and does not appear on Price Comparison Websites. Customers can get a quote in under 5 minutes through MCE’s quote form which is designed specifically for bikers. They will then get a price based on their details. Unlike standard insurance policies with monthly and annual premiums, Subscribe & Ride has a super simple payment structure. One initial payment when the subscription is started, which can be as low as £20 and then a pay-per-mile cost every month for as long as their subscription lasts, that’s it.
The initial payment covers the cost of the MileMate, a device which is attached to the customer’s bike and then linked to the MCE mobile app, which then counts the miles they ride. It also covers the bike for fire and theft when it’s parked up. The pay-per-mile cost gives comprehensive cover when the customer is on the road.
Subscribe & Ride is perfect for low milage riders, classic bike owners or riders who put their pride and joy away for the winter. It also has other great features such as no cancellation fees.
