A great 3 race weekend at Oulton

A big three racer at the Oulton park weekend and what a great weekend overall.

A 10th different podium winner and Chris Walker wins a British superbike race for the first time in 12 years, Tommy Hill grabbing his first win of 2012 as well. This years start has been incredible.

The weekend didn’t get off to a great start as Kirkham lost control of his machine in the first race and collided in to the barriers and first thoughts was worry as the crash looked terrible however it was great to see a full recovery with no major injuries and he was present for the races for the rest of the weekend all be it just from the pits as we knocked unconscious and was unable to participate in the other races which a shame. Cant wait to see him back on track he is hard as nails so I am sure it wont be long.

Tommy Hill grabbed his first win at the opening race of the weekend and looked impressive as he seemed determined to start with a 1st and open his account in this years championship and he did it in style.

Chris walker recording his first win since 2000 in race 2 after riding a controlled race moving him just in front of Shane Byrne after passing josh brookes who took the final podium spot.

They definitely saved the best till last as race 3 was an awesome race with Shane Byrne taking his first victory of this years championship. Tommy Hill topped off a great weekend securing second place and looked back to his best.

After Round 3 Tommy Hill is back where he thinks he belongs as top dog and leader of the championship by 6 points with Brookes in second and Shane Byrne in 3rd place. MCE BSB 2012 is well and truly into the swing of things now so lets look forward to some epic races!!
