MCE Insurance BSB season nearly here...
So the 2011 MCE Insurance British Superbikes season is nearly here – and I’m buzzing with excitement louder than a dozen hives of angry hornets. It all kicks off at Brands Hatch this weekend in what promises to be an Easter extravaganza.
All eyes will be on former winner Shakey Byrne who has looked rapid in testing – and with defending champ Kiyo as his teammate at HM Plant Honda, you feel they’re going to be the ones that Tommy Hill on his Swan Yamaha and co. will have to keep up with.
I’m also looking forward to seeing oversized baseball cap wearing Californian John Hopkins in action for Cresent Suzuki – what a great signing that is for the championship.
