When I got back to the office following Motorcycle Live I had a quick glimpse at the confirmed 2016 MCE British Superbike line-up and I couldn't believe how much it has already filled up.

Twenty four riders have already been confirmed and the grid is sure to grow with the likes of Buildbase yet to announce who will be joining Lee Jackson at the helm.

Irwin, Hornsey and Rispoli are the only new additions so far to the class of '16, however they have heaps of expectations on their shoulders having already displayed their talents in the lower classes prior to their arrival in the premier class.

We've seen some really interesting changes between teams that will make great viewing next year - such as Hickman joining Ellison on the JG Speedfit Kawasaki, a really accomplished pairing that I would expect big things from.

Byrne, as always, will be one to watch. I have a feeling the Ducati is going to be an absolute rocket and if he gets comfortable on the bike early on he could be the man to beat.

As Josh Brookes demonstrated in 2015 the R1 is a fantastic piece of machinery and with Hopkins and Easton riding for Tommy Hill's ePayMe Yamaha team they will be looking to do just the same.

The best thing about the line-up is if I had a tenner to put on who I think will win it I'd struggle to choose. Byrne will walk into the championship favourite, but with the competitiveness of the MCE BSB grid and with 2015 as a benchmark it's never going to be an easy ride!
