Road Race Ireland Competition - The winners reaction!
MCE Insurance held a competition earlier in the year in 'Road Race Ireland' where readers simply had to give the insurer a call for a quote and they would try and beat their best price.
The lucky winners, Martin and Paula Weldon were subsequently invited to an MCE British Superbike round of their choice to enjoy full hospitality courtesy of the title sponsor. Thanks to Billy Nutt of Nutt travel the couple was provided with free ferry transport to and from the event.
The couple decided upon Oulton Park and we caught up with them following the round. "I signed up with MCE Insurance in April and never expected to get anything like this! We won two VIP passes to any round of my choice and decided on Oulton Park. It was brilliant, the ferry was paid for and the weekend admission was as well! And what we received when we got there was so much more than what we were expecting! Food and drink was provided all day and we were made to feel so welcome!"
Martin received a pillion ride, of which Paula commented "he will be talking about that lap for a long time, not to mention the grid walk and the behind the scenes tour with MCE's host Carl Montgomery - he made everyone feel at ease, relaxed and was simply a pleasure to be with. We want to thank MCE and Billy Nutt for providing us with a most memorable weekend!"
