MCE Experts Scheme - Success!
The career development scheme at MCE Insurance has borne plenty of fruit over the past 18 months, with numerous MCE people seeing their career develop as a result of participation in the six month programme. Learners on the scheme are given technical and behavioural upskilling, alongside exposure to experiences that they would not ordinarily get as part of their normal job role.
One example of these experiences is MCE's 'expert sessions', where key figures from around the business hold learning sessions with the developees to pass on their knowledge and experience in their specialist field to those looking to progress their career. Recently, Chief executive Julian Edwards and Simon French, Head of Sales and Marketing have held their expert sessions and there are many more on the horizon for the group, including an insight into the realms of Human Resources, Finance and Operations.
Matt Duck, Head of Talent commented; "The aim with these development courses is to give the learners as broad an experience as possible during the time they are on the course. The opportunity to spend time with the people within our business who are the ultimate expert in their field has proven to be an extremely popular element of the course for our learners as they get insights they would never ordinarily see.
