Social Media Award Success for Big Ed!
With over 45,000 likes Big Ed's Facebook page is clearly a firm favourite with MCE policyholders and the general biking community alike. Now, Big Ed's Facebook page has been recognised in a prestigious social Media listing. The 'Top 100 Social Media Brands' is an annual award run by social media experts Headstream which reports on top brands in all industries based on the success of their social media (which includes Facebook, Twitter and Youtube).
In the financial services sector, MCE achieved 6th place in the top 20, beating off competition from well known brands such as Aviva, Santander and HSBC. This is a terrific achievement for the team here at MCE. Furthermore, the report highlighted a further fantastic achievement in the Facebook specific category, where MCE achieved 19th place overall across all business sectors.
Big Ed's Facebook page has been growing into the true home of biking social media and this award success shows that things are working. His Twitter following has also grown over the last six months and many MCE BSB riders now follow Big Ed.
