Insurance Times Rates MCE as Best Performer!
We are proud to announce that MCE Insurance have been ranked by the Insurance Times as one of the ‘Best Performers’ with regards to our claims complaints responses.
With only 25% of customer complaints upheld by the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) in the first half of 2018, we not only smashed our personal target, but this figure also means we are well below the industry average of 31% set during the same period.
The MCE Governance and Resolution team have worked hard to highlight ways to improve our processes to ensure that fewer complaints arise, and those that do have an outcome that is beneficial to everyone.
Such introductions include the Claims Reception team, who have been vital in preventing any delays in a claim, meaning that our policy holders do not experience any post-sale barriers.
Furthermore, during our valuation process we now use the Glass’s and CAP price guide, which is directly in line with the method that the FOS use.
These changes are prime examples of the ways we are always adapting to ensure we continue to be the best we can be – from product, price, service, to people.
