As we all know, there’s nothing better than getting the bike out of the garage and blasting the cobwebs away on a ride out. But where are some of the best roads to ride in the UK?

We’ve put together some great motorcycle riding routes that are perfect for a summer’s day. Here are our top five:

The Cat and Fiddle Road – Derbyshire

This road is often considered to be one of the most dangerous in the UK but it is also one of the most exhilarating to ride. The views are stunning and there are plenty of twists and turns to keep you entertained. Just be sure to take extra care if you attempt this one!

The Snake Pass – Derbyshire/Yorkshire

This route takes you through some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK. It’s a great ride for those who enjoy a challenge as there are a few steep sections. The views from the top are definitely worth it though!

The Coast Road – Isle of Man

This road is one of the most iconic motorcycle routes in the world. It’s great for those who want to enjoy some stunning coastal scenery whilst also getting their adrenaline fix. Be sure to take your time and enjoy the ride as there are plenty of stops along the way where you can admire the view.

The A9 – Scotland

This road is perfect for those who want to really put their motorcycle skills to the test. It’s notoriously windy but the views are incredible. If you’re feeling brave, why not attempt the North Coast 500? This is a 516-mile route that takes you along the stunning north coast of Scotland.

The A4069 – Wales

This is a great motorcycle route for those who want to explore some of the more remote parts of Wales. The road is mostly single track and there are plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy the views. Just be sure to watch out for sheep!
