We are looking for an experienced Defendant Motor Claims Paralegal Supervisor who has a strong track record of supervising a team in Defendant RTA Litigation. The location of the position is Rushden in Northamptonshire, with the team you are supervising being based Offshore.

Your strengths will lie in:

Supervising and coaching a number of Paralegals in an Offshore Team.



Your duties will involve:

Reviewing and signing off the following documents prepared by Paralegals:


Notices of Acting

Defences

Counterclaims

Acknowledgements of Service

Directions questionnaires

Disclosure statements

Listing Questionnaires

Witness statements

Trial bundles

Instructions to Counsel

Applications

Draft orders

Instructions to costs draftsman

Allocation of new cases to appropriate handler

Consider and set case strategy and recommended offers

Oversee evidence gathering and attend telephone hearings

Working an average of 38.75 hours per week you will cover a 2-week shift pattern between the hours of 10:30 and 20:00 with alternate Sundays and a day off in lieu.

Your duties will involve:

  • Fielding customer queries and questions regarding policies
  • Managing customer expectations to ensure an excellent customer journey including Policy Enquiries, Mid-Term Adjustments, Issuing Documentation, Verifying No Claims Bonus and First Notification of Loss
  • Dealing with customer complaints through the entire process, from inception to resolution
  • Retaining customers who wish to cancel and resolving any issues
  • Treating all customers fairly and always acting in their best interests

  • Liaising with other departments and business partners to action and resolve client queries
  • Assisting the Department in achieving daily targets
